Text Message Marketing: Things To Know

Text message marketing has been around for a couple of years now but it seems that only the top businesses are using it. I have been conducting some research on text message marketing to see why more businesses are not using it and have come to the conclusion that businesses think that it is too expensive or they think that it is too hard to utilize.

When I was about 17, I used to do telemarketing training, essentially training new recruits and updating the skills of existing customer service representatives at a large call centre.

And one of the bones of contention people always had was using scripts.

"It doesn't sound natural" some people would say.

"It feels contrived."

"I prefer to take the call by gut feeling."
